1. Psalm 133:1 speaks of the blessedness and joy that we can have in our relationships if we are at peace with each other. The roof was finished on Saturday--throughout the project, no cross words, no "I'd rather do that, not this", no murmuring. Although there was structure (someone had to make the plans, decide on how to proceed), there was no sense of "I'm in charge here." It was so refreshing to have such a oneness in this task. Thank you all--those who gave, those who brought food, those who were on the roof, those on the ground.
2. We had a good time at Cline Village apartments on Sunday. I believe that the residents who came out enjoyed the singing and (hopefully!) the message. Thank you, my love (who led the singing a capella), those who participated (Tom, Seatta, Matt, Tim, Tom, Karen), and those from the church who live there (Dee, Peggy).
3. It's a pleasure and a privilege to serve with you all of FCCN! Ministry can be a burden and a challenge, but you make it a joy. But there are those among us who are struggling with things, though, and they need ALL of us to encourage, pray, visit, and support them. Is there someone that YOU can minister to? Each has received a spiritual gift, entrusted to us to "serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms."
