THE UNCREATED CREATOR

Hard to fathom the idea of nothingness--that before there was creation, there was nothing, EXCEPT the personal, infinite God. This God did not need to create because he was lonely. Scripture reminds us that God loved Jesus before the creation of the world.
Jesus is described here in Colossians (and elsewhere) as Creator. By him, ALL things were created. Similarly, Hebrews 1:2 says that, through Jesus, God made the universe. Also, John 1 reminds us that through him, all things were made.
Who else in all history has had such stupendous claims made about him? No one else! This One through whom all things were made is also the source and giver of life. It is no wonder, then, that Christians could proclaim Jesus as Lord and God, as Thomas did (John 20:28).
