YOU NEVER KNOW.

When we lived in Maine about 30 years ago, I received a call from a man I had never met. He asked if I was Fred Nelson (I always answer yes to that question), then asked if I remembered Charles P. I thought for a minute, then exclaimed "Charlie P! Sure, I remember him!" Well, the man said, he wanted me to call you to let you know that he became a Christian and was in school for the ministry and that you were a part of it.
I was stunned. I didn't recall ever sharing the gospel with him at work, although I'm sure I spoke some on Christian topics. I left a tract in the work truck which he returned to me saying, "You forgot this," And yet, my little bit, his grandmother's encouragement, and him hitting rock bottom all combined to bring about a conversion.
So you never know. God can use a little thing--a word, a bit of salt and light, some kindness, etc.--and, with others contributing, produce a spiritual harvest. Remember that Paul planted, Apollos watered, but God gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6). You never know, so be faithful even in the little things.
